The “Lures and Lies” presentation is geared for middle and high school aged youth. The session focuses on grooming tactics, common misconceptions about trafficking and the dangers of sextortion. Students will also briefly hear about the overlap of sex trafficking with pornography and how technology and gaming puts all kids at risk of being sexually exploited.

The “Growing Up in a Digital World” presentation is designed to educate all caregivers about how children are lured into the dark world of sex trafficking and exploitation. The session focuses on the dangers of technology, including strategies used by child predators. Caregivers will know how to identify a child in trouble and some best practices to be their child's trusted adult. They will also learn about the hope Ransomed Life offers and resources available to them.

The “Child Exploitation Training for Agencies” is designed for those who work with youth that may be at greater risk (previous trauma, abuse, neglect) of being trafficked/exploited. This training covers the risks and realities of child sex trafficking, sextortion, and how traffickers lure youth into their trap. Ransomed Life will also provide information about their therapeutic resources for the community.

The “Mousetraps” presentation is geared for elementary aged youth (8-11 y/o). The session focuses on how the internet works and the dangers that come with it. Students will learn how to trust their body, who can be their trusted adult, and how to say “no” when feeling uncomfortable.
While schools are often a safe place for young people, they can also be a recruiting ground for traffickers. The “Child Exploitation Training for School Staff” will cover the realities of child sex trafficking and the dangers of online enticement. School Staff will be trained to identify the signs of a child in trouble, how to report, and learn about the services Ransomed Life offers to families.
